Day 1:
Welcome to Rome! Upon arrival at the airport, you may make your own way to the hotel, where you will check in and settle into your room to begin enjoying your stay. Accommodation in Rome.

Day 2:
Departure at 7:15 a.m. by deluxe coach to Assisi, a medieval town surrounded by ancient walls. Visit the Basilica of St. Francis, featuring frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue, followed by free time for lunch (lunch not included). Continue to Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its shell-shaped Piazza del Campo and the Palio horse race. Later, travel through the Tuscan countryside to Florence. Check-in at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 3:
Discover Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance. Visit the Duomo, Brunelleschi’s Dome, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery. Explore Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Free lunch time (lunch not included). In the afternoon, choose between free time or an optional excursion to Pisa, with its Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli. Dinner at leisure. Overnight stay in Florence.

Day 4:
Travel to Bologna, a city rich in culture and gastronomy. Walk from Piazza Malpighi to Piazza Maggiore, admiring the Basilica of San Petronio and Palazzo del Podestà. Free time. For lunch (not included), we recommend immersing yourself in the local flavors and enjoying Bologna’s delicious typical street food, an essential experience to authentically discover Bolognese cuisine. In the afternoon, continue to Venice. Arrival, hotel check-in, and time to relax. Overnight stay.

Day 5:
Transfer to Piazza San Marco to begin a guided tour of Venice’s most iconic landmarks. Admire the Doge’s Palace (outside view) and cross the Bridge of Sighs. After the tour, enjoy free time. Lunch not included. In the afternoon, explore the canals, artisan shops, and hidden corners at your own pace. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Venice.

Day 6:
After breakfast, depart for Montepulciano, in the heart of Tuscany. Known for its medieval charm and panoramic views, this town perfectly combines history and beauty. Upon arrival in Montepulciano, enjoy free time to stroll through the historic center. Lunch at leisure. At the scheduled time, meet the group and depart for Rome. Accommodation in Rome.

After breakfast, begin discovering Rome at your own pace. Decide what you would like to see in this magnificent city, filled with monuments and a breathtaking historic center. Around every corner, you will find something extraordinary that will make your experience unique. Overnight stay in Rome.

Day 8:

Breakfast at the hotel. At 7:00 a.m., departure by coach southward along the “Highway of the Sun,” crossing Lazio and Campania. Enjoy the scenery of the Italian countryside and the views of the Amalfi Coast, where crystal-clear waters meet hills and charming villages. Upon arrival in Sorrento, discover its vibrant streets, ceramic workshops, and historic churches. Check-in at the hotel and free afternoon. Optional tour available to explore the Amalfi Coast. In the evening, dinner at the hotel (jacket recommended for men) and overnight stay in Sorrento.

Breakfast at the hotel. At 7:00 a.m., depart by coach heading south along the "Highway of the Sun" (Autostrada del Sole), crossing the regions of Lazio and Campania. Breakfast and free time in Sorrento. At 1:15 p.m. (time subject to confirmation), departure for Pompeii. Guided tour with skip-the-line entrance to this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore houses, frescoes, and streets frozen in time since 79 A.D. Afterwards, continue to Rome. Accommodation in Rome.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time to experience the charm of Sorrento one last time. At approximately 1:30 p.m. (departure time to be reconfirmed by the Carrani Tours staff), transfer to Pompeii to board the coach for the return journey to Rome. Arrival in Rome is scheduled for late afternoon, at approximately 6:00 p.m., leaving you with plenty of time to continue enjoying the beauty of the Eternal City.
